Verena has always been the sister to do the biddings for Queen Agdaline. Catching, calling, and even killing. She has always lived in the evil shadow of her sister, sometimes as a friend and more often as a servant. King Neptune, their father saw the ruthlessness in her and knew she would serve as a great queen. “Figures,” Verena thinks to herself while brushing her Agdaline’s hair as she prepares for tonight’s feast. When their father ruled this seaspace, the killing of humans weren’t allowed. He thought of it as an immature practice and that the sirens were better than that of other creatures who eat without thought or consideration of other beings. Now, things are different. Queen Agdlaine forces her sisters to feed every night, not only for sport and food, but to show the humans a lesson not to tamper with the sea. She thinks she’s fighting a war she can win.
